COST
The cost of the series is $135 (subject to change without notice), which includes all necessary materials and a year's membership in the Couple to Couple League. As a member, the couple will receive the bimonthly newsletter, Family Foundations. Current members may also retake the course at no charge.
METHOD TAUGHT
The Couple to Couple League teaches the Sympto-Thermal Method of Natural Family Planning (NFP).
In this system, the couple uses the primary and secondary signs of fertility in a cross checking way to achieve or avoid conception. A recent study has documented its 99% effectiveness rate in spacing or limiting births.
METHODS OF INSTRUCTIONA series of three classes at monthly intervals and the use of the CCL student manual provide the basic instruction. Personal counseling is available at each class and between classes. All CCL classes are taught by volunteer couples or individuals who have successfully completed the CCL certification program. Two supplementary classes are available at no extra charge. These cover NFP after childbirth and NFP during premenopause.
